A truck isn't a big car. It's a different vehicle category with its own wear patterns. The bed collects dirt, tools, trade materials, and stains that cars never deal with. Tailgates and cargo areas take more physical abuse than any body panel. Lifted trucks accumulate mud and off-road grime. Work trucks have grease, oil, and material residue that requires different chemistry than consumer vehicle cleaning.
Detailing a pickup correctly means approaching each area separately โ the bed has its own protocol, the cab is basically a car interior with heavier dirt volume, and the exterior depends whether the truck is a weekend half-ton or a daily-driven work F-350. A generic "truck detail" that priced like a sedan and finished in 2 hours is just a wash that missed the bed.

Most trucks in NYC and the tri-state area fall into three categories: commercial work trucks that carry materials daily, personal daily-driver trucks (usually half-tons like F-150, Silverado, Ram 1500, Tundra), and weekend trucks used for trips, trailers, and recreation. Each has a very different contamination profile.
Work trucks need bed cleaning plus grease-specific degreasers in the cab and around door jambs. Daily-driver trucks get the standard road-grime exposure of NYC driving. Weekend trucks pick up campground dust, boat-launch mud, and winter-sport salt. We ask about how the truck is used before we quote, because the scope is meaningfully different between them.
Available across NYC: Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx, Staten Island. Plus NJ/PA service for tri-state clients. Open 24/7 with same-day and next-day booking. Call (808) 556-7589 or use the contact form.
Pairs well with other services: pre-coating correction before ceramic protection. Interior detail with exterior work for complete vehicle care. Add headlight restoration when the lenses have hazed.

Exterior first โ foam pre-soak, two-bucket wash, iron and tar decontamination, clay bar, machine polish appropriate to paint condition, and sealant or ceramic. Larger surface area than a sedan means longer time per step, but the sequence is the same. Wheels and tires get dedicated attention because truck wheels are larger and usually dirtier, especially on lifted setups.
Bed is its own job. Plastic or composite bed liners get pressure-washed (safe โ they're built for it) and then treated with a UV-protective dressing. Spray-in bedliners get degreased and re-dressed. Metal beds without liners get full wash, iron fallout treatment, and a dedicated rust-inhibitor on any exposed metal. Tie-down tracks and rail caps get hand-detailed because they trap the most debris.
Interior gets full vacuum, extraction on carpet and cloth seats, leather or vinyl conditioning, hard-surface detail. Work trucks often need degreaser on door jambs, steering wheel, and shifter because those are high-touch points that accumulate grease. Headliner usually needs more attention on trucks because of dust exposure from open windows during work.
Lifted trucks have special considerations. Undercarriage gets more environmental exposure because the clearance is higher, meaning more suspension and frame cleaning is often needed. Oversized tires need dedicated cleaners because the sidewalls carry more contamination. Exposed aftermarket components (skid plates, tow hooks, side steps) need product selection that won't damage powder coating.
For off-road trucks that see actual off-road use, we do a pre-wash pressure rinse of the undercarriage to remove bulk mud and debris before touching the painted surfaces. A regular detail on a muddy off-road truck is a lost cause โ the mud has to be off before anything else happens. We budget extra time on those builds.

Popular multi-service combinations: exterior detail plus ceramic coating, or full auto detail plus headlight restoration. Works best when scheduled as a single appointment.

Truck owners tend to care more about their trucks than almost any other vehicle category โ and notice more when a detailer cuts corners. We spend real time on the bed, real time on the wheels, and real time on the interior instead of treating a truck like a large sedan. Our truck slots are blocked longer than sedan slots for this reason.
For work trucks specifically, we can run recurring service schedules tied to your work cycle โ monthly, bi-weekly, or after specific jobs. Keeping a work truck looking professional matters for client-facing businesses. We work that into scheduling without needing re-quote every time.
Truck pricing starts at $199 for a half-ton exterior detail, $349 for full detail, $699 for ceramic packages. Lifted trucks, F-250+ / 2500+ class, and work trucks price higher based on scope. Call (808) 556-7589 or send your truck details for a fixed quote.
